A course for 8-13 year olds (Ability level is a minimum of completed Stage 5)
The Rookie Lifeguard programme teaches children skills that help build their confidence, promote teamwork,and develop the basic survival, rescue and lifesaving skills.
The Rookies course follows the Royal Lifesaving Society (RLSS) Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. www.rlss.org.uk
This programme can run parallel to your child’s current swimming lessons and enhance the skills they learn in the pool.
These sessions are taught by a Rookie Lifeguard qualified instructor
